Finance Internship at Bricks and Mortar Media

7 Oct

The San Francisco based start-up, Bricks and Mortar Media, seeks a motivated Finance Intern to work directly with the Executive Director and Market Research Analyst to produce pro forma financial statements for a presentation to venture capital investors. This paid internship is an opportunity for MBA-level students to apply the skills of Managerial Finance to real world applications. Specific duties will involve preparation of pro forma Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Statement of Cash Flows, with an emphasis on capital budgeting, data analysis, and financial decision modeling. The work will culminate in a presentation to investors during Q1 2009.

After developing the business plan for his Entrepreneurial Management elective at the University of San Francisco, founder Chris Hansen enlisted fellow USF alums Fernando Estrada and Phil Lang to build a live performance venue in San Francisco that delivers live video content via the internet. The business model bridges the gap between real-world and web-based entertainment through a subscription model and interactive format that allows spectators to become participants in the content creation process.

This is a part-time internship that pays $20/hour. For more information or to apply, contact Fernando Estrada.
